Dealing with Investors in this Black Swan Event

People are describing the COVID-19 pandemic as a black swan event.  They talk like we know what a black swan event is.  I looked it up.

The phrase comes from a time when black swans were thought not to exist so seeing one was a rare event.

According to Nassim Nicholas Taleb’s 2007 book, The Black Swan,  a black swan event has 3 attributes:

  1. First, it is an outlier, as it lies outside the realm of regular expectations because nothing in the past can convincingly point to its possibility.
  2. Second, it carries an extreme ‘impact’.
  3. Third, in spite of its outlier status, human nature makes us concoct explanations for its occurrence after the fact, making it explainable and predictable.

Day 24- Continuing to improve yourself! So many options for mind, body, spirit!

I wrote this 2.5 years ago, now I am in a great place because I did this blog it held me accountable. I am so excited to be chosen to lead a new school and build it from the ground up!

SO much fun and potential!! Continuing to improve yourself, there are so many ways to add to improving your life, your home, your self!

IT is such an opportunity to learn and grow. I’m so excited to be better in spirit, mind and body. I just signed up for an online meditation class and I am looking at a dance class! I need to get going on it!
